Credit crunch adds to pressure on divorced and separated couples
This piece in The Guardian G2 revealed a personal category that was new to me – the SBLT, Separated But Living Together.
The other necessity for these couples must be a vGSoH.
This is a category that has blossomed with the credit crunch and fall in property prices, couples that are separated but can’t sell their house so are forced to remain living under the same roof – so the story explains.
Particularly liked the phrase that the looming recession is resulting in "a price being paid behind the bedroom door".
